Das Centre pour le développement intellectuel (CDI) ist ein psychopädagogisches Kompetenzzentrum, das sich landesweit um Kinder und Jugendliche mit einer Beeinträchtigung der geistigen Entwicklung kümmert. Zusammen mit der Agentur für den Übergang in ein autonomes Leben (ATVA) gehört das CDI zu einem Netz von acht spezialisierten Kompetenzzentren, das im Sinne der schulischen Inklusion geschaffen wurde. Über Prävention, Intervention und Kompensation ermöglicht das CDI Kindern, Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen Teilhabe an den für sie bedeutsamen Lebensbereichen.

Für wen? Die Annexe in Berchem richtet sich an Eltern und Erziehungsberechtigte, die im Zusammenhang mit einer Beeinträchtigung der geistigen Entwicklung Beratung suchen, an pädagogisches Personal von Grund- und Sekundarschulen, das fachliche Diagnostik oder Unterstützung bei Interventionsstrategien benötigt, sowie an externe Partner, die sich zu diesem Thema fortbilden möchten.

Von wem? Vor Ort arbeitet ein multidisziplinäres Team aus Lehrkräften, Fachkräften für Diagnostik, Beratung und Betreuung sowie aus dem Bereich Rehabilitation und Therapie. Die Leitung der Annexe „Kannerinsel Berchem" liegt bei Marie-Pierre Prospert (Chargée de direction), eingebettet in die Gesamtdirektion des CDI mit Sitz in Strassen.

Infrastruktur Die Annexe Kannerinsel Berchem befindet sich in der 24, rue de Bettembourg, L-3320 Berchem und ist eine von insgesamt sieben Zweigstellen des CDI in Luxemburg. Landesweit betreut das CDI rund 388 Schülerinnen und Schüler sowie 126 ambulante Betreuungen, unterstützt durch ein Team von über 300 Mitarbeitenden in Unterricht, Diagnostik, Therapie und Verwaltung.

Le CDI à Berchem – Kannerinsel

Le Centre pour le développement intellectuel (CDI) est un centre de compétences psychopédagogique qui s'occupe, à l'échelle nationale, des enfants et des jeunes présentant une déficience du développement intellectuel. Avec l'Agence de transition vers une vie autonome (ATVA), le CDI fait partie d'un réseau de huit centres de compétences spécialisés, créé au service de l'inclusion scolaire. Par la prévention, l'intervention et la compensation, le CDI permet aux enfants, aux jeunes et aux jeunes adultes de participer aux domaines de vie qui leur tiennent à cœur.

Pour qui ? L'annexe de Berchem s'adresse aux parents et représentants légaux souhaitant être conseillés dans le contexte d'une déficience du développement intellectuel, au personnel pédagogique des écoles fondamentales et secondaires ayant besoin d'un diagnostic spécialisé ou d'un accompagnement sur les stratégies d'intervention, ainsi qu'aux partenaires externes intéressés par des formations continues sur cette thématique.

Par qui ? Sur place, une équipe pluridisciplinaire regroupe des enseignants, des professionnels du diagnostic, du conseil et de l'accompagnement, ainsi que du personnel de rééducation et de thérapie. La direction de l'annexe « Kannerinsel Berchem » est assurée par Marie-Pierre Prospert (chargée de direction), au sein de la direction générale du CDI, dont le siège se trouve à Strassen.

Infrastructure L'annexe Kannerinsel Berchem se situe au 24, rue de Bettembourg, L-3320 Berchem, et constitue l'une des sept annexes du CDI au Luxembourg. À l'échelle nationale, le CDI accompagne environ 388 élèves ainsi que 126 suivis ambulatoires, avec le soutien d'une équipe de plus de 300 collaborateurs dans les domaines de l'enseignement, du diagnostic, de la thérapie et de l'administration.

CDI in Berchem – Kannerinsel

The Centre pour le développement intellectuel (CDI) is a psycho-pedagogical competence centre that supports children and young people with an intellectual developmental disability across Luxembourg. Together with the Agency for the Transition to an Independent Life (ATVA), the CDI is part of a network of eight specialised competence centres set up to promote inclusion in schools. Through prevention, intervention and compensation, the CDI enables children, young people and young adults to take part in the areas of life that matter to them.

Who is it for? The Berchem annexe is aimed at parents and legal guardians seeking advice in connection with an intellectual developmental disability, at teaching staff in primary and secondary schools who need specialist diagnostics or support with intervention strategies, and at external partners interested in training or observation placements on this topic.

Who runs it? On site, a multidisciplinary team brings together teachers, specialists in diagnostics, counselling and support, as well as staff working in rehabilitation and therapy. The Kannerinsel Berchem annexe is headed by Marie-Pierre Prospert (site manager), within the CDI's overall management, based in Strassen.
